About FAN

Friends and Neighbours (FAN) is part of Waltham Forest Council’s Connecting Communities programme.

FAN is focused on ways to support Waltham Forest residents, especially adults who have English as a second language, during the Covid-19 response.

FAN wants to partner with local organisations to lead on delivering virtual events and activities to integrate residents across the borough and build stronger communities.

Residents: take part!

FAN’s exciting range of virtual workshops, courses and creative arts projects are free for all Waltham Forest residents. For example, the Share-ArtBox creative art project and virtual Bollywood fitness, costume-making, hair and makeup workshops.

Wellbeing Week (24 August to 31 August 2020)

Organised by our Friends and Neighbours (FAN) team, Wellbeing Week ‘aims to help residents make connections with other people while enjoying a range of fitness, mindfulness and wellbeing classes’.
