These online workshops are for adults aged 19 and older.

Snowflake Decorations

Create your own paper cut-out snowflake designs to decorate our windows. 
Materials required:
You will need paper (this can be paper used for photocopying, recycled paper or newspaper) and a good pair of scissors.

Window sill gardening

Learn how to grow nutritious pea shoots on your own window sill to give you a supply of tasty greens all year round.
Materials required:  You will need upcycled plastic container/large bottle or tetra pack 5cm-7cm deep, scissors, dried peas (from supermarket/grocery shop) soaked 24 hours before the workshop, multi-purpose compost (ideally peat-free), newspaper and gloves.

Festive Leafy Bunting

Create a lovely festive bunting by printing some leaves and threading them up to make the bunting.
Materials required: You will need leaves (a variety), paper or card (recycled), paint, scissors, crayons, hole punch, hairdryer, string and glitter.

How to enrol

Please book early as places are limited.

To enrol on a course, please book online.

For workshops 1, 2, 5 and 6 see Art, Crafts and Fashion, 3 and 4 see Horticulture & Gardening, workshops 7-14 see Family Learning.

Please include your email address and mobile number on your enrolment form and join the zoom workshop 5 minutes before the start of the session and check your audio/video.  Your tutor will email you the zoom link in advance.

Steps to enrol

  1. Make a note of the course title and course code and then click go to our online course website by clicking book online
  2. For workshops 1, 2, 5 and 6 see Art, Crafts and Fashion, 3 and 4 see Horticulture & Gardening, workshops 7-14 see Family Learning.
  3. On the course page, click ‘Enrol’ next to to the course to go to the ‘Basket’ page
  4. From the ‘Basket’ page, you can continue searching the site to add more courses
  5. When you’re ready, click ‘checkout’ on the ‘Basket’ page
  6. This will take you to a login screen
  7. On the login screen, if you do not already have an account, please select ‘Create an account’
  8. You then need to register and complete your account and the enrolment form
  9. After you have completed your enrolment, you should receive a confirmation email.
  10. If you do not receive an email confirming your enrolment is complete, please check your spam/junk folders and then phone our support team on 020 8496 2974.

Support with completing your enrolment form – if you need help to complete your enrolment, please email your name, contact number, name of course and course code to adult.learning@walthamforest.gov.uk
