Digital skills are now more important than ever. You can use technology to safely stay in touch with others and feel less isolated. You could also improve your job chances in a much tougher job market.
Gain a qualification: As your confidence and ability increase, you can join an Essential Digital Skills qualification course. You need ICT and digital skills for most jobs. These skills will also help you daily: from making appointments to online shopping and banking.
Learning with us: Our courses are in-person at a learning location, online or a blend of both online and in-person learning.

What our learners say
‘I have learnt how to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. This course has given me the confidence to volunteer in an office environment in order to gain experience… The course was organised in a very practical manner. I found that there was the right balance between theory and practical exercises. Everyone was given the time to learn at their own pace.’
Learner, Computers for Improvers
‘[This was a] short, creative course which shows immediately a result of what you’ve learned. I learned about creating a website and what the possibilities are to design or create one. I liked creating the website and finding out that I have the skills to do this. Next, I’d like to do a Level 2 course to learn more skills.’
Angelique, WordPress and social media for business learner
‘The course changed my life a lot as before I was afraid to even touch a computer. I learned how to use Word, PowerPoint, communicate with others online, etc. The course was very useful and intense in the way it covered a lot of topics. I can now talk with friends or colleagues with more confidence.’
