Your safety and Covid-19

Our Covid-19 safety measures

At Waltham Adult Learning Service, we continue to follow Waltham Forest Council’s public health policy for Covid-19. This means that the safety measures for our buildings (as below) remain mandatory.

The Council’s policy will be reviewed regularly so please continue to check this page for updates.

Your safety in our buildings

Two shoe prints in a circle sign: please stand here, be socially safe. Arrow in circle sign: this way.

We regularly review our buildings and Covid-19 safety measures to keep our learners and staff safe.

  • Unless you are attending a class, you must book an appointment before you come to our buildings. Please phone 020 8496 2974 to book an appointment.
  • Our information sessions and assessments are by appointment only.
  • Keep a safe distance and come alone unless you need special assistance.
  • Please wear a mask or face covering when you come to our buildings, in all shared areas, and spaces where you cannot stay the correct distance from others.
  • We clean throughout the day.
  • There are hand-sanitisers and cleaning materials so you can wipe down equipment before and after use.
  • We encourage you to bring your own hand sanitiser and water.
  • You will notice safety signs at our buildings. Please follow signage and listen to our staff for your safety.
  • Please only bring what you need for your course.

You can also give us feedback on our safety measures. We look forward to welcoming you to a course or training with us.
