As part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to skills and learning we have set up a new system for learner enrolment, information and certificates. This new system will allow us to enrol you quicker than before and also put you in control of your own information on our system if you create an individual account.
We are still developing the system and making sure that everything works as you need it to. As part of this upgrade we are very pleased to launch our new course search site. We still have work to do on the site, but realise that many people rely on our online search to find the courses that they are interested in. We would value your comments and feedback as we continue to develop and improve the system.
Unfortunately online enrolment is currently unavailable.
Please email any comments or feedback about the online course search to email@example.com
Our experienced staff offer impartial information and advice to help you make decisions about your learning. You will also get information about additional learning and financial support that you may be entitled to. We also provide information on next-step progression routes including career development opportunities or other providers.
If you want to do a qualification course, you will need to have an assessment before you can enrol.
These part-time courses help you improve your English and maths and gain a nationally recognised qualification – from beginners to GCSE.
Courses are available daytime and evening. All English and maths courses are FREE if you do not already have English or maths GCSE grade A*-C and have lived in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area (EEA) continuously for three years.
If you have English as a second language and would like to talk to us about our courses for ESOL learners please see below for information about ESOL language assessments.
English and maths courses start in February and September. Before you enrol we need to assess your level of English or maths so we can tell you which course is best for you. Assessments will take at least one hour. Please do not bring young children with you as they may get bored and distract you or other learners. The dates for assessments are listed below, to book your place please call 020 8496 2974 to make an appointment. You must book to attend these assessments.
We offer courses for adults whose first language is not English, who have been living in the European Economic Area (EEA), including the United Kingdom, for at least three years. We can also accept spouses and dependents of the above.
For information and assessments for ESOL, please call 020 8496 2974 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make an appointment.
