NEW Online course search

The new online course search can be found here:

As part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to skills and learning we have set up a new system for learner enrolment, information and certificates. This new system will allow us to enrol you quicker than before and also put you in control of your own information on our system if you create an individual account.

We are still developing the system and making sure that everything works as you need it to. As part of this upgrade we are very pleased to launch our new course search site. We still have work to do on the site, but realise that many people rely on our online search to find the courses that they are interested in. We would value your comments and feedback as we continue to develop and improve the system.

Unfortunately online enrolment is currently unavailable.

Please email any comments or feedback about the online course search to

You will also get information about additional learning and financial support that you may be entitled to. Pre-course information and assessment session

If you want to do a qualification course, you will need to have an assessment before you can enrol.

  • You will have an English assessment and a short check of maths and digital skills. This will let you know the level you’re working at and help you choose the right course. We can also talk about what support we can offer to help you to succeed.
  • Please bring any certificates for courses or qualifications that you already have.
  • At busy times, an assessment session can last between 1 and 2 hours. Please arrive on time. No children to avoid distractions to you and other learners.
